국문 초록

본 연구는 반도체 제조업 전공정 설비 유지보수작업자를 대상으로, 올바른 호흡보호구 착용 향상을 위한 교육･관리전략 수립 및 제도화 기반 마련을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 작업환경관리체계가 호흡보호구 지식수준을 매개로 하여 올바른 착용에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하였다. 선행연구들이 주로 보호구 착용의 개별효과나 교육결과평가에 초점을 맞추었던 것과 달리, 본 연구는 작업환경관리체계에서 지식수준을 거쳐 올바른 착용으로 이어지는 구조적 관계를 분석함으로써 차별성을 확보하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 반도체 제조업 유지보수작업자 205명이며, 구조화된 설문조사를 실시하였다. 데이터 분석에는 SPSS 30.0, PROCESS macro(Model 4), R의 lavaan 패키지를 활용하였고, 기술통계, 확인적 요인분석(CFA), 상관분석 및 매개효과분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 작업환경관리체계는 호흡보호구 지식수준 및 올바른 착용 모두에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으며, 호흡보호구 지식수준은 두 변수 간 관계에서 통계적으로 유의한 매개역할을 수행하였다. 특히 교육운영 및 관리감독체계가 잘 구축될수록 작업자의 지식수준이 높아지고, 이는 궁극적으로 올바른 착용 강화로 연결되는 구조적 경로가 실증적으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 현장실천이 가능한 호흡보호구 착용교육･관리전략 수립에 필요한 이론적 근거를 제공하며, 산업현장에서 작업자 건강보호를 위한 실효성 있는 정책적 시사점을 제시한다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 향후 연구에서는 호흡보호구 밀착도 검사에 대한 주관적 인식과 실제 착용결과 간의 차이를 분석하는 방향으로 확장할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study empirically analyzed how the work environment management system influences respirator knowledge and proper respirator use among semiconductor fabrication maintenance workers. Recognizing that proper respirator use is critical for protection, the study examined the structural relationship between work environment, knowledge, and proper respirator use. A structured survey was conducted with 205 semiconductor maintenance workers, and data were analyzed using SPSS 30.0, PROCESS macro (Model 4), and the R lavaan package to perform descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), correlation, and mediation analysis. The main variables were work environment management (3 items), respirator knowledge (3 items), and proper respirator use (2 items). Results showed that the work environment management system had a significant positive effect on both respirator knowledge and proper respirator use. In particular, respirator knowledge played a statistically significant mediating role, especially where educational operation and supervisory systems were well recognized. This study clarifies the structural pathway from work environment management to proper respirator use, providing foundational data for on-site respirator management. Future research should further analyze the gap between fit-test awareness and actual practice to improve the effectiveness of respirator use.
