국문 초록

급진 정통주의자들에 의해 추구된 탈세속신학은 근대 세속 사회가 실패한 정치적 대안으로 기독교 복음에 기초한 정치학을 제시한다. 그것은 진정한 탈세속화를 이루기 위해 일의적 존재론 대신에 참여적 존재론을 추구하고, 자율적 이성에 의한 인식론 대신에 계시에 의존한 인식론을 강조한다. 이런 참여적 존재론과 관계적 인식론은 탈근대 기독교 정치학의 근간이 된다. 탈세속신학이 내세운 기독교 정치학은 초월적 은총에 의존하여 자연의 궁극적 목적을 완성시킨다는 하나님 나라의 복음을 강조하며, 그것을 실천하기 위한 교회의 사명을 강조한다. 이런 탈세속신학의 정치학은 성서적이고 고전적인 기독교 신앙의 사회학적 기능을 강조하고, 기독교 복음의 정치적 속성을 탈근대 사회에서 부각시켰다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 탈세속신학은 몇 가지 신학적 과제, 즉 교회와 정치의 영역에서 신앙 우월주의적인 논리, 초월화된 물질의 일의성에 대한 강조, 문화 비판으로서 교회 사명에 대한 실천적 의제의 부족 등의 과제를 가지고 있다.

영문 초록

Post-secular theology, as pursued by radical orthodoxy thinkers, presents a Christian politics as an alternative to the failed political systems of modern secular society. In its pursuit of true post-secularization, it advocates for participatory ontology and emphasizes an epistemology grounded in revelation. These concepts form the foundation of postmodern Christian politics. The Christian politics proposed by post-secular theology emphasizes the gospel of the Kingdom of God, which asserts that transcendent grace fulfills the ultimate telos of nature, and underscores the mission of the Church to enact this vision. This political theology highlights the sociological function of biblical Christian faith and brings to the forefront the political dimensions of the Christian gospel in postmodern society. However, post-secular theology faces several theological challenges, including faith-based triumphalism in the realms of church and states, an overemphasis on the univocity of matter, and a lack of practical agendas for the Church’s mission as a critique of culture. These issues present ongoing tasks for theological reflection and practical engagement.
