국문 초록

본 연구는 초･중등 특수교사의 의사소통역량과 소진의 관계에서 교사-부모 협력과 교사효능감의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 특수학교, 특수학급 및 전공과에 재직 중인 초･중등 담임 특수교사 277명이 응답한 자료를 활용하였다. SPSS 28.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계 분석, 독립표본 t-test 및 ANOVA 분석, Pearson의 상관관계 분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 또한, PROCESS macro 4.3 프로그램의 model 4번과 6번을 사용하여 매개효과를 분석하였으며, 간접효과의 유의성 검증을 위해 부트스트래핑 분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 의사소통역량은 소진에 부(-)적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 교사-부모 협력은 의사소통역량과 소진의 관계를 매개하지 못하였다. 셋째, 교사효능감은 의사소통역량과 소진의 관계를 부분매개하였다. 넷째, 교사-부모 협력과 교사효능감은 의사소통역량과 소진의 관계를 순차적으로 매개하였다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 특수교육의 발전을 위해 실천할 수 있는 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined how teacher-parent partnership and teacher efficacy sequentially mediate the relationship between communication competence and burnout among elementary and secondary special education teachers. Data were collected from 277 special education homeroom teachers working in special schools, special classes, and vocational education programs. Various analyses were conducted using the SPSS 28.0 program-including frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, independent sample t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation analysis, and regression analysis. Mediation effects were analyzed using model 4 and 6 of the PROCESS macro 4.3 program. The significance of indirect effects was also verified through bootstrapping analysis. The results of the analysis revealed the following: First, communication competence negatively affected burnout. Second, teacher-parent partnership did not mediate the relationship between communication competence and burnout. Third, teacher efficacy partially mediated the relationship between communication competence and burnout. Fourth, teacher-parent partnership and teacher efficacy sequentially mediated the relationship between communication competence and burnout. Based on these findings, practical implications for advancing special education were discussed.
