국문 초록

With the trend of globalization and cultural integration, translation has become a key factor for China’s national literature to go global. The book The Wisdom of Confucius compiled by Lin Yutang not only achieved the external dissemination of traditional Chinese thought and culture, but also demonstrated outstanding translation wisdom and strategies, becoming a paradigm for future learning and reference. This article takes this as the research background, and through in-depth analysis of the textual features of The Wisdom of Confucius, uses rhetorical situation theory to analyze its translation methods, and then summarizes the diverse translation strategies adopted, providing reference for future translators to choose translation strategies.

영문 초록

随着全球化发展趋势与文化交融发展，翻译已经成为我国民族文学走向世界的关键因素。林语堂编译的《孔子的智慧》一书不仅实现了中华传统思想文化的对外传播，而且展现出杰出的翻译智慧与策略，成为后世学习与参考的范式。本文即以此为研究背景，通过深入分析《孔子的智慧》的文本特征，以修辞情势理论剖析其翻译方法，进而总结其采用的多元翻译策略，为后世译者选择翻译策略提供参考。
