This paper reviews the research status of social practice in college student management at home and abroad, and expounds the definition and types of social practice and its important role in cultivating students' comprehensive quality. By analyzing the current situation of the implementation of social practice activities in colleges and universities, this paper points out the existing problems, such as the single form of activities and insufficient resource guarantee. This paper further discusses the construction of long-term guarantee mechanism, puts forward a guarantee system including resource guarantee, organization management, evaluation and feedback mechanism, and puts forward strategies such as multi-channel resource integration, strengthening internal and external cooperation and innovating activities to improve the effect of social practice activities. Through the analysis of successful cases, this paper shows the innovative practices and successful experiences of social practice activities in colleges and universities in concrete implementation.
