국문 초록
Background/Objectives: This study aims to examine the challenges faced by the wedding service market and explore measures to ensure the market's soundness and consumer orientation in the future.
Methods: The present study examines the scope and classification of wedding services, general trends in the wedding service industry (market), current status of occupations and qualifications related to wedding services, and consumer usage patterns and issues regarding wedding services through existing reports. Accordingly, the study suggests measures for the future consumer-oriented development of the wedding service market.
Results & Conclusion/Implications: First, the scope and classification of the marriage service industry need to be clarified. Second, by constructing data through a survey of the marriage preparation service market, such should be utilized not only as consumer information but also for the promotion of related industries. Third, it is necessary to review the standardization and national management of the training of professional manpower related to marriage preparation services. Fourth, to establish a transaction order in the provision of marriage preparation services, a marriage preparation service certification system should be implemented, price display obligations and price comparison data should be provided, and standard terms and conditions that meet the consumer’s expectations should be established to develop a sound transaction order in the relevant industry and improve consumer understanding of standard terms and conditions. Regulations should be applied based on the content or function of the services provided, not on the standards of the marriage preparation service provider.
