영문리유적 주형 석도 분석

국문 초록

본고에서는 용인 영문리유적에서 출토된 주형 석도 9점을 대상으로 육안 및 현미경 관찰을 통해 사용흔을 분석하고 그 사용 방식을 상정하였다. 분석 결과 기존에 추정된사용 방식이 다시 한 번 실증적으로 입증되었다. 주로 오른손잡이가 사용한 것으로 짐작되는데, 구체적인 사용 방식은 오른손 중지에 끈을 연결하여 석도를 잡은 다음 엄지로 벼과식물을 석도에 밀착시키고 검지로 누르면서 손목을 비틀어 이삭을 따는 형태로 복원하였다. 그리고 오른손잡이와 왼손잡이의 사용 비율, 재가공 과정에서 광택의소멸, 사용에 의한 구멍 주변 끈 흔적의 형성과 날의 변형, 사용의 효율성을 감안한 석재 선택 및 제작, 다양한 천공 방식의 적용, 같은 장소에 보관된 석도의 유사한 사용 방식과 빈도, 주거의 화재 폐기와 관련된 그을음 부착 등이 추가적으로 확인되었다.

영문 초록

This article analyses nine boat-shaped stone knives excavated from the Yongin Yeongmun- ri site through normal and microscopic observation to reconstruct their use. The results confirmed the previously assumed use; it is assumed to be used mainly by right-handed people, and the specific method of use is to attach a string to the middle finger of the right hand, then press the rice straw against the stone with the thumb, press down with the index finger, and twist the wrist to pick the ears. To add, the proportion of right-handed and left-handed, the loss of lustre in the process of reworking, the formation of string marks around the holes due to use and the deformation of the blades, the selection of stones with regard to the efficiency of their use and workmanship, the application of different perforation methods, the manner and frequency of similar use of items in the same place, and the attachment of soot associated with the disposal of fired dwellings.
