영문 초록

This study aims to Korean as a second language. The purpose of the current study is to investigate how effectively to teach and learn the meaning and function of complex-words and morphemes which are used in formulating complex -words. In this study, I call them multi-functions morphemes. It is part of vocabulary expansion for language learners to know how the same morphemes form different complex-words. This study focuses particularly on morphemes that frequently employ in complex-words in Korean. It is the learner's job to acquire vocabularies in the course of foreign language learning. However, before that, it is necessary to learn the way how words expand, which could make it possible to acquire the meaning and function of words for a short time. It is not easy to learn complex-words made by the same morphemes through one by one acquisition process of words or descriptive teaching method. It can be better off if students acquire words at a time by using word-fields that show the use and expansion of words.
