영문 초록

Nozick's theory of inalienable rights has provided the theoretical foundation for neo-liberalism, a major ideological paradigm that gained ascendancy in Western societies since the 1970s. However, this ideology has led to structural violence and harm, which has led to a re-evaluation of its assumptions and tenets. Rawls' political philosophy of welfare liberalism provides an alternative framework that prioritizes the well-being of all members of society regardless of socio-economic status. By advocating for social welfare and justice through wealth redistribution and social mobility, Rawls' welfare liberalism provides an ethical and rational choice for social organization.
