중국 몽골족 전통음악의 현대화 사례 연구

국문 초록

몽골족 전통음악은 유목민족의 기상과 생활양식을 반영한음악이며 주요 음악적 특징은 ‘장조’과 ‘후미’ 창법, ‘마두금’, 몽골어의 사용이다. 전통음악의 현대화를 시도한 주요아티스트는 ‘텅꺼얼’, ‘항가이 밴드’, ‘후스렁’, ‘봉황전기 밴드’ 등이 대표적이다. 이들의 음악을 통해 전통음악의 현대화 양상과 더불어 그 한계점도 발견할 수 있었다.주요 문제점은 악곡의 창작 방식에 있어 시대적 요구를 반영하지 못했으며 당대적 감각과 괴리된 채 현대적인 다양한 표현방식이 부재하여 대중음악의 흐름을 추동하는 젊은 계층의 호응을 받지 못하고 향유계층이 중·장년층에 편중되는 경향을보이고 있는 점이다. 이에 따라 균형감 있는 융합적 창작방식, 음악적 표현의 다각화, 음악적 소재의 확대, 전통악기와서양악기의 균형감 있는 배치, 현대적 가창표현 등이 강조될 필요가 있음을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Mongolian traditional music reflects nomadic spirit and life style and its’ main musical features is the use of Mongolian language of singing methods such as “Long-Sonmg”, “Khoomel”, “Hore-Head Fiddle”, Important artists who tried the modernization of Mongolian traditional music, are ‘Tengri’, Hanggal Band’, ‘Hullen’. ‘Phoenix Legend Band’. Through their musical works, we can find the modernization of traditional music and limitations as well. Major issues is the lack of reflection of young generations’ demands and the tendency to focus on the old generation against them who lead the flow of popular contemporary music with the absence of the current various expression method. Thus, I propose well-balanced integrated composing method, the diversification of the musical expressions, the extension of musical materials, the balanced arrangement of Western and Mongolian traditional instruments and the latest singing expressions.
