영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to study what kind of translation method can reflect novelty and difference by lettng the readers of the target language find the new things and the wisdom. To this end, this paper analyzes the Yun Dong-ju's two translated poems and then examines which translator translates the images, rhymes, emotions of these poems much better, considering the original’s literary aspects and translatability. This research also aims to discuss and explore the developmental direction of translation, examining which translator tries to contain poetry metaphors, musicality, rhymes and cultural elements properly. Therefore, it is vital to completely grasp the cultural background of the society where the poems were created, and to have the literary, critical ability to understand the poems deeply. The literary translator should find the original’s literary aspects and translatability, and then accomplish creative translating to change the literary aspects and translatability into the newly, literary expressions of target language.
