국문 초록

일본과 인도의 파트너십은 제2차 아베 정권 출범 이후 꾸준히 강화되어 왔다. 이 논문은 일본의 대인도 전략의 분석을 통해 인도·태평양 구상이 어떻게 전개되었고, 그리고 이 정책 구상이 일본의 대인도 전략 발전에 어떤 역할을 했는지 분석하는 것이다. 이 논문은 인도⋅태평양 개념이 양국이 경제에서 안보까지 다양한 정책 분야에서 실질적인 협력을 추구하고 촉진하는 것을 목표로 하는 핵심축(linchpin)으로서 기능하는 것을 규명하는 것이다. 더 나아가 이 논문은 인도⋅태평양 구상이 양국 사이의 해양 안보와 인프라 개발을 다루는 데 있어서 구체적인 가치를 확산시키는 규범적 무기로 작용하고 있다는 것을 분석하고 있다.

영문 초록

The partnership between Japan and India has been steadily strengthened since the launch of the second Abe administration. This paper analyzes how the Indo⋅Pacific concept has been developed through the analysis of Japan’s interpersonal strategy and what role this policy initiative played in the development of Japan’ s interpersonal strategy. This paper explores the concept of India⋅Pacific functioning as a linchpin aimed at pursuing and promoting substantial cooperation in various policy fields, from the economy to the security. Furthermore, this paper considers that the Indo⋅Pacific concept serves as a normative weapon to spread concrete values in dealing with maritime security and infrastructure development between the two countries.
