The purpose of the paper is to grasp the present status of well organized preschool education programs in England focused on the individual education of early childhood considering their interesting, desire, and development in order to provide the materials under the necessity of the preschool physical education program in Korea. The paper makes use of materials on the Web as well as a study of documents.
The study shows that the preschool physical education program in England usually offers monthly class and the program teaches not only the physical activity but also other areas such as math, science, language, music, etc through the physical activity. In the teaching method, in addition, the teacher give the students the task by level to make them think and practice by themselves instead the teacher provide the whole model. The appropriate evaluation is made after physical activities in each level, and the result and feedback are provided to teachers, parents, and the students.
