국문 초록

『小學』은 유학의 입문서로써 童蒙書이다. 이 책은 유소년들에게 ‘孝와 敬’ 사상을 가르치며, 儒學者로의 길(道)을 督勵하고 있다. 이 연구는 『小學』의 體(身)에 대한 사상과 射(弓)에 대한 체육사상의 연구이다. 그 두 가지에 대한 논의는 다음과 같다. 우선, 『小學』의 體(身)에 대한 사상이다. 이는 孝의 근본으로써의 신체를 매우 중요하게 다루고 있었다. 그리고 『小學』은 儒學의 童蒙書로써 儒學者의 모델인 聖人과 君子 혹은 그 길(道)을 지향한다. 이를 위해『小學』은 무엇보다 修身과 體得에 의한 道德的 인간을 꿈꾼다. 이것은 반복과 경험이라는 학습(교육방법)을 통해 ‘儒學(者)의 道’, 그것의 體化를 지향하였다. 다음으로, 『小學』의 射(弓)와 관련한 내용이다. 弓(활)을 배우는 나이(入門歲), 활을 쏠 때 규범(相互禮節), 교과목으로써 활의 중요성(人性敎育), 활을 쏠 때 마음가짐(弓師態度) 등이 설명되어 있다. 이는 『小學』에 숨겨져 있는 弓의 禮와 道로써 弓道論이 될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Sohak was youth beginner s book for the study of Confucianism. Sohak was recorded about filial duty and reverence for youth. It also performed a guideline to become a Confucian scholar. This study was about ancient bow and physical body from the Sohak. Specifically, Sohak was contained the effectiveness of physical body. Author considered toward physical body as the fundamental principles of the filial duty. It followed the road to become a saint and noble man. Above all things, Sohak was deal with cultivating one s morals and mastering ethical human. It was aimed Confucian scholars Tao . Sohak was also described bow. Be specifically, it was contained when youth started to learn bow and how to learn a model of behavior using bow. It was also provided the importance of bow inside the curriculum and mentioned the mental attitude. This study might be an important bow theory for the effectiveness of physical body and Tao .
