상지기능 장애인을 대상으로 한 스마트 폰 접근성 기준과 접근성 기준 만족도 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 상지기능에 장애인을 대상으로 스마트 폰 사용을 위한 접근성 기준과 그 적합성 및 기준 만족도를 분석한 것으로, 현재의 초고속정보통신 시대에서 장애인과 노령자 등은 사용상의 불편, 정보습득과 가공능력의 차이 등으로 인해 이른바 ‘상대적 약자’ 의 위치에 처하게 되었다. 이로 인해 웹 접근성과 더불어 이보다 한층 더 발전한 형태인 모바일 접근성은 그 중요성이 날로 증대되고 있다. 스마트 통신기기는 사용자의 편리성 극대화를 추구하는 보편적인 수단으로 이미 널리 이용되 고 있다. 그러나 상지의 기능장애를 지닌 장애인들을 대상으로 한 모바일 접근성 항목은 상대적 으로 크게 부족한 것이 현실이다. 이에 이전 연구를 바탕으로 한 스마트 폰 접근성항목 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이전 ‘장애인을 고려한 스마트폰 접근성 기준 만족도 분석’ 결과와 상지에 기능 장애를 지닌 장애인들을 대상으 로 실시한 설문조사 결과를 비교하였을 때, 전반적인 항목에서 기존결과보다 낮은 결과를 나타내 었는데, 그 중 키 설정, 키 동작, 문자 입력, 음성인식, 화면 조정, 기기 사용, 보조공학기기 이용 등의 스마트폰 접근성 설문 이용 항목에서 그 결과 차이가 큰 항목으로 결과가 나타났다. 특히 기기의 대형화로 인해 상대적으로 악력(握力)이 약한 상지기능 장애인에게는 기기의 잡기, 회전 등의 동작(動作)이 요구되는 사용조건에 큰 불편이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 스마트폰의 터치스 크린 입력방식의 특성으로 입력 시의 불편이 큰 것으로 설문결과가 나타났다.

영문 초록

The disable and the aged in the era of ultra high speed information communication technology represented by smart phone and tablet pc came to be in a position of so-called ‘relatively weak people’ in the field of information communication due to inconvenience of use and difference in information acquisition and processing ability. Accordingly, along with web accessibility, the importance of a more developed form, mobile accessibility is increasing day by day for so-called ‘Information-Alienated Class (IAC).’ When the previous results of ‘analyses of smart phone accessibility levels considering the disabled’ and surveys with the disabled with upper limb dysfunction were compared, the results of this study were lower than the existing results in the overall items of the use of smart phone, such as the keyboard, screen display, voice communication, the appearance of the device and use of the charger, and there were differences in the results of the inquiry into the items of smart phone accessibility in key setting, key operation, text input, voice recognition, screen control, the uses of the device and assistive technology devices.
