중도장애인의 외상 후 스트레스장애(PTSD)가 음주 행위에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 중도장애인들이 경험하는 외상 후 스트레스 장애가 음주행위에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 이 두 변인들 간의 관계에서 차별경험의 조절효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 전라북도 내에 거주하는 중도장애인 179명을 대상으로 하였으며, 조절회귀식으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 연구대상자의 43.1%가 PTSD 집단에 속하였으며, PTSD 집단은 정상집단에 비해 음주빈도가 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 장애 특성(장애등급, 장애발생연령)에 따라 차별경험과 음주량에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 셋째, 중도장애인의 PTSD와 음주행위를 살펴본 결과 남성, 연령이 낮을수록, 무교, 기혼인 중도장애인의 음주행위 수준이 증가하였으며, PTSD 수준이 증가할수록 음주행위의 수준도 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 중도장애인이 인지한 차별경험은 PTSD가 음주행위에 미치는 영향을 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 장애차별을 더 많이 경험하는 집단은 PTSD 수준에 따른 음주행위 수준도 급격하게 증가하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과에 근거하여 중도장애인의 정신건강증진과 음주문제 개입을 위한 방안 등을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate moderating role of discrimination experiences between posttraumatic stress disorder(PTSD) and drinking behavior among people with acquired physical disability. Data were collected from 179 people with acquired physical disability in Jeollabuk do. Collected data were analyzed by frequency, t -test, moderated multiple regression and simple slope analysis. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, 43.1% of subjects showed PTSD and this PTSD group showed more drinking behavior than non-PTSD group. Second, disability conditions(disability onset, disability rate) had impact on the significant difference discrimination experiences and drinking behavior. Third, male, no-religion, married, more younger group showed more drinking behavior. Fourth, PTSD were significantly related to the drinking behavior and discrimination experiences moderated between PTSD and drinking behavior. These findings supported the importance of comprehensive care program and mental health program in disability settings. Suggestions of disability social work were discussed and proposed future research.
