잠재성장모형과 자기회귀교차지연모형을 활용한 종단매개효과 검증

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 잠재성장모형과 자기회귀교차지연모형을 활용한 종단매개효과의 검증방법을 소개하고, 이를 활용하여 부모자녀관계가 우울에 미치는 영향에서 자아존중감의 매개효과를 종단적으로 검증하는 것이다. 잠재성장모형을 활용한 방법은 독립변인, 매개변인, 종속변인의 변화양상 간의 관계를 검증할 수 있다는 장점이 있으며, 자기회귀교 차지연모형을 활용한 방법은 시간적 선행성을 고려할 수 있고 매개변인과 종속변인의 이전 상태를 통제한 후 효과를 추정할 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 잠재성장모형을 활용하여 종단매개효과를 검증한 결과, 고등학교 시기동안 부모자녀관계의 향상도가 높을수록 자아존중감이 더 큰 폭으로 향상되었고 우울은 더 큰 폭으로 감소하였다. 자기회귀교차지연모형을 활용해 분석했을 때에도, 고1때 부모자녀관계가 긍정적일수록 고2때 자아존중감이 높았고 고3때 우울은 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 두 모형에서 모두 부모자녀관계가 우울에 미치는 직접효과는 유의하지 않았고, 자아존중감을 매개로 하는 매개효과만이 유의하게 나타났다. 연구결과를 통해 자아존중감의 매개효과가 종단적으로도 유의하게 존재한다는 점을 확인할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this paper was to analyze longitudinal mediation effect of self-esteem in the influence of parent-child relationship to depression during high school. To do this, latent growth curve modeling and autoregressive cross-lagged modeling were adapted to KYPS data. The results showed that the mediation effects of self-esteem were significantly existed in longitudinal data. First, the results from latent growth curve modeling showed that students whose growth rates of parent-child relationship was high represented high growth rates of self-esteem. And the students whose growth rates of self-esteem is high represented high decline rates. Second, the results from autoregressive cross-lagged modeling showed that the students whose parent-child relationship was high in 10th grade represented high self-esteem in 11th grade. And the students whose self-esteem is high in 11th grade represented low depression in 12th grade. In the results from two models, the mediation effects were significant, but direct effects of parent-child relationship on depression were non-significant.
