Executives in the small beauty service industry have performed all business management for organizational operation from manpower supply and demand to marketing, education, capital and information management, and played key roles that influence the success or failure of organization.
The main content of this study is made up of the concept and characteristics of small business, skin beauty, the precedent study of managers' characteristics, the method and design of study, and the analysis of managers' characteristics. The results of this study are as follows.
It showed that managers' characteristics had an effect on management performance in small skin beauty shops. Especially, it has confirmed that risk taking disposition and education desire among sub-factors of manager's characteristics are the most important factors. Consequently, managers in small skin beauty shops need to focus their attention toward risk taking disposition -- a mental attitude of challenge to new works, the fresh investments, works to do despite more or less risks, and the conquest of a given situation, as well as education desire -- the new learning method for customer satisfaction and the investments in continuous education without valuing the cost and time for their learning.
