국문 초록

본고는 독서와 작문의 통합을 비문학 장르를 대상으로 독서와 작문의 통합 구도를 설정하였다. 이를 위하여, 독서와 작문의 통합 내용을 사고(인지), 담화(장르와 의미), 담화장의 요소로 밝혀 각각 통합의 장단점을 검토하였다. 통합의 본질은 교육의 상승효과를 얻을 수 있는 두 활동의 통일적 연계에 있다. 독서와 작문은 사고, 담화, 의사소통의 세 차원에서 관련성을 갖는다. 사고(인지) 특성은 독서와 작문의 과정을 단계적으로 배치하는 구도로 통합된다. 담화 형식인 장르 특성은 특정 장르의 글쓰기를 활용한 독서 또는 독서를 통한 장르 학습 후의 글쓰기 구도로 통합된다. 담화 내용인 의미 특성은 독서 후 활동으로 작문하기, 작문을 위한 내용생성으로서의 독서하기의 구도로 통합된다. 의사소통 차원인 담화장은 필자의 글이 독자에게 직접적인 영향을 주고 또한 독자의 이해가 필자에게 직접적인 영향을 주는 대화적인 소통환경을 설정함으로써 독서와 작문을 통합한다. 독서와 작문의 통합은 교육과정 수준에서, 학습자의 발달을 고요하여 계획하여야 한다. 입문기 시기에는 인지특성 중심의 통합을 계획하고, 초등 중학년 이후로 장르와 의미 중심의 통합을 계획한다. 담화장에서의 통합은 장르와 의미 중심의 통합과 결합하여 시도하되, 초등고학년 이후부터 강조한다.

영문 초록

This article aims to suggest a frame of integrative teaching in reading and writing. For this purpose, I make clear four integrative teaching point : cognitive processes, discourse forms(genre), discourse contents(meaning), fields of discourse. The integrative teaching intends to get the synergy effects. It is usable to integrate sequentially reading and writing focused on cognitive process. It is possible to integrate effectively the two areas on same formed texts like this way: writing with meaning come from reading or reading for discovering ideas. And we can try to integrate two areas on shared discourse field by giving direct conversational channels between writer and reader. In the beginning of reading and writing. I recommend integrative teaching focused in cognitive processes. Around three or four grade, it is possible to teach students with integration focused genre and meaning characteristics. And integrative teaching connected in fields of discourse is possible at over five or six grade.
