보살사상과 서번트 리더십에 기반한 사회복지사 리더십의 도출

국문 초록

  중생구제를 하고자 하는 보살사상과 다른 사람을 섬기어 이끌고자 하는 서번트 리더십은 모든 인간의 존엄성과 가치를 존중하고자 하는 사회복지사에게 필요한 리더십의 기저가 될 수 있다. 보살은 보시(布施), 지계(持戒), 인욕(忍辱), 정진(精進), 선정(禪定), 지혜(智慧)의 육바라밀과 보시섭(布施攝), 애어섭(愛語攝), 이행섭(利行攝), 동사섭(同事攝)의 사섭법을 실천 덕목으로 한다. 또한 서번트 리더십의 창시자인 Robert K. Greenleaf와 계승자인 Larry C. Spears는 듣기, 공감, 치유, 설득, 인식, 선견, 개념화, 사람들의 성장을 위한 헌신, 청지기 정신, 공동체 형성을 서번트 리더의 특징으로 제시하였다. 보살의 육바라밀과 사섭법은 중생구제를 위한 방편이며, 서번트 리더의 특징은 섬김의 방편이다. 중생구제와 섬김은 사회복지사의 덕목과 일치한다. 이에 사회복지사의 리더십을 구제와 방편에 준거하여서, ‘인간에 대한 이해’, ‘다른 사람을 존중하는 태도’, ‘참여의 최대화’, 그리고 ‘박애에 의한 헌신’으로 제시하였다.

영문 초록

  Thought of boddhi-sattva(菩薩) that relieves mankind and servant-leadership that serves a person and leads him are the foundation of social welfare leadership that respects the dignity of all mankind.
  Boddhi-sattva practices ？a？-p？ramit？(六波羅蜜) and caut？-sa？graha-vastu(四攝法). ？a？-p？ramit？(六波羅蜜) means d？na(布施), ？？la(持戒), k？？nti(忍辱), v？rya(精進), dhy？na(禪定), praj？？(智慧) and Caut？-sa？graha-vastu(四攝法) means d？na-sa？graha(布施攝), priya-v？dit？-sa？graha(愛語攝), artha-cary？-sa？graha(利行攝), sam？n？rthat？-sa？graha(同事攝).
  Robert K. Greenleaf who originates servant-leadership and Larry C. Spears who succeed to the servant-leadership present listening, empathy, healing, persuasion, awareness, foresight, conceptu alization, commitment to the growth of people, stewardship, and building community as the characters of servant leader.
  ？a？-p？ramit？ and caut？-sa？graha-vastu of boddhi-sattva are a means to relieve mankind and the characters of servant leader are a means to serve a person. And therefore according to the relief and service, the pre-sent writer presents understanding about a human being, a respect of other people, a increase of participation, and a self-sacrifice based on philanthropy as social walfare leadership.
