모의실험을 통한 3수준 다차항 다층 성장모형의 고정효과 및 부가가치 추정량의 양호도 탐색

국문 초록

  이 연구는 교육 종단자료 분석에 사용되는 3수준 다차항 다층 성장모형의 명세화 및 성장정보의 이해를 돕고 모의실험을 통해 추정치의 양호도를 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 3수준 다차항 다층 성장모형과 부가가치 모수를 명세화하고, 학교 수와 학생 수에 따른 6가지 조건으로 모의실험을 시행하였다. 이 연구의 결과를 통해 종단자료를 분석하기 위한 다차항 다층모형을 적용할 경우, 분석에 사용되는 학생 수에 제한이 있다면 보다 많은 학교를 표집하는 것이 모수 추정의 안정성을 높일 수 있는 방안임을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

  It is an essential part in educational evaluation to measure how to change student"s abilities in order to assess education effect. Although Hierarchical Growth Model can be widely applied to analyze a longitudinal multilevel data set, it has not been fully in practical use. For this reason, this study aimed to provide information about 3-Level Hierarchical polynomial growth model reflecting multilevel data structures and irregular growth trajectories and to investigate the unbiasedness and efficiency of fixed effect parameters and value added estimators by simulation study.
  The results of simulation study according to six conditions were as follows. On fixed effect parameters, γ？₁？ and γ₁₁？ were estimated unbiasedly and efficiently, and γ？？₁ γ？？？ and γ₁？？ got more unbiased and efficient estimators as the number of school got increased. Not only the value added estimators in both the experimental and the control group and but also the difference in value added estimators between two groups got more unbiasedness when the number of schools got increased.
