영문 초록

To study on growth of young seabass, samples were collected from the shallow waters off Kunsan, Korea from April to July, 1996. The groups of young seabass habit in the tidepool of shallow waters. The ranges of temperature and salinity of habitat marked 16.7-27.1°C and 30.1-32.2‰ respectively. The young seabass of 19.9-23.7 mm (mean 21.5±1.2 mm) in total length appeared in the shallow waters in April. and grew up to 100.8-139.0 mm (119.5=20.9) in late July. They disappeared from the shaHow waters after late July. The major food items were decapoda mysis and copepods in less than total length 40 mm, and those of more than 50 mm were small crab, fishes of gobiid, korean anchovy, scaled sardine
