국문 초록

본 연구는 음악치료에서의 AI 활용에 대한 음악치료사의 전반적 인식과 활용 현황을 파악하고, 이를 토대로 음악치료에서의 AI 활용을 위한 발전 방안을 제안하기 위해 수행되었다. 선행연구의 고찰과 두 차례의 예비연구를 토대로 음악치료에서의 AI 활용에 대한 인식, 음악치료에서의 AI 활용 현황, 음악치료에서의 AI 활용을 위한 발전 방안의 세 영역으로 구성된 설문지 문항을 제작하였고, 2024년 12월 19일부터 12월 30일까지 설문조사를 진행하여 수집된 158명의 음악치료사의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악치료에서의 AI 활용에 대한 음악치료사들의 태도는 중립 이상의 다소 긍정적인 경향인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 전체 참여자 중 AI 활용 경험이 있는 치료사는 158명 중 22.8%에 그치며, 음악치료 분야에서 AI 기술이 아직 널리 활용되고 있지 않음을 확인하였다. 셋째, 음악치료에서의 AI 활용을 위한 발전 방안으로는 전문적이고 체계적인 교육의 필요성, 음악치료에 특화된 애플리케이션 또는 프로그램 개발의 필요성, 윤리적 고려의 필요성이 제시되었다. 본 연구는 음악치료사들의 AI 활용에 대한 인식과 현황을 파악함으로써 음악치료에서의 AI 활용을 위한 발전 방안을 모색하고 미래의 음악치료 환경을 준비하고자 하였다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to examine music therapists’ overall perceptions and current practices regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence(AI) in music therapy, and to propose future development strategies for its application. Based on a review of previous studies and two rounds of preliminary research, a questionnaire was developed consisting of three domains: perceptions of AI use in music therapy, current practices of AI use in music therapy, and development strategies for AI use in music therapy. A survey was administered from December 19 to December 30, 2024, and data from 158 music therapists were analyzed. The results were as follows. First, music therapists’ attitudes toward the use of AI in music therapy were generally neutral to somewhat positive. Second, only 22.8% of the participants reported prior experience with AI use, indicating that AI technology has not yet been widely applied in the field of music therapy. Third, the proposed strategies for advancing AI use in music therapy included the need for professional and systematic education, the development of applications or programs specialized for music therapy, and careful ethical considerations. This study is significant in that it identifies music therapists’ perceptions and current practices related to AI, while exploring potential strategies for its advancement and preparation for the future environment of music therapy.
