금강경 기도에 참여한 여성 참여자의 초월적 시간관, 삶의 의미, 심리적 안녕감 분석 연구 -연령과 종교생활 기간을 중심으로-

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 금강경 기도에 참여한 여성 참여자의 연령과 종교생활 기간에 따라 초월적 시간관, 삶의 의미, 심리적 안녕감의 차이를 살펴보고, 금강경 기도를 통해 참여자의 성공적인 노화를 도울 수 있는 시사점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 방법 본 연구의 연구대상은 금강경 기도에 참여한 여성 참여자 241명이다. 초월적 시간관, 삶의 의미, 심리적 안녕감 척도를 설문지로 구성하여 서면조사를 실시하고, 빈도분석, 기술통계, 신뢰도 계수 도출, 독립표본 t-검정, 일원배치분산분석을 실시하였다. 결과 첫째, 연령에 따라 초월적 시간관, 삶의 의미, 심리적 안녕감의 하위요인과 척도 전체의 평균 차이가 유의미하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초월적 시간관의 하위요인인 심신이원론적관점, 초월적 관점, 척도 전체, 삶의 의미의 하위요인인 의미추구와 척도 전체, 심리적 안녕감의 하위요인인 삶의 목적에서 유의미한 평균 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초월적 시간관의 하위요인이 심신이원론적관점, 초월적 관점과 척도 전체, 삶의 의미의 하위요인인 의미추구, 심리적 안녕감의 하위요인인 삶의 목적에서 유의미한 평균 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구는 금강경 기도에 참여한 여성 참여자의 심리적 특성을 연령과 종교생활 기간을 중심으로 확인하고 현대 여성들의 심리적 건강 증진에 있어 금강경 기도의 가치를 확인하였다는데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in transcendental time perspective, meaning in life, and psychological well-being according to the age and duration of religious practice of female participants involved in the Diamond Sutra prayer. Additionally, the study aims to derive implications on how participation in the Diamond Sutra prayer can aid in promoting successful aging among the participants. The subjects of this study were 241 female participants who engaged in the Diamond Sutra prayer. A written survey was conducted using scales measuring transcendental time perspective, meaning in life, and psychological well-being. The data were analyzed using frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, independent sample t-tests, and one-way ANOVA. The results of this study are as follows: first, no significant differences were found in the mean scores of the sub-factors and overall scales of transcendental time perspective, meaning in life, and psychological well-being according to age. Second, significant differences were observed in the mean scores of the sub-factors of transcendental time perspective (dualistic view of body and mind, transcendental perspective, and overall scale), meaning in life (meaning-seeking and overall scale), and psychological well-being (life purpose) based on the duration of religious practice. Third, significant mean differences were found in the sub-factors of transcendental time perspective (dualistic view of body and mind, transcendental perspective, and overall scale), meaning in life (meaning-seeking), and psychological well-being (life purpose). This study is significant in that it identifies the psychological characteristics of female participants involved in the Diamond Sutra prayer, focusing on their age and duration of religious practice. The findings confirm the value of the Diamond Sutra prayer in promoting the psychological health of modern women.
