국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 지역거점 공공병원에 근무하는 사회복지사의 직무 및 교육 요구도를 살펴보고, 의료사회복지의 서비스 제공 역량을 강화하기 위한 직무교육 활성화 방안의 기초자료를 제시하는데 있다. 조사의 대상은 지역거점 공공병원에 근무하는 사회복지사 168명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 이중 104명의 응답을 자료 분석에 포함하였으며, 교육 요구도 분석을 위해 IPA분석을 통해 확인하였다. 연구의 주요결과는 첫째, 지역거점 공공병원 사회복지사에게 상대적으로 우선 지원이 필요하다고 생각하는 직무교육 주제는 보건의료복지 연계 및 사례와 지역사회 자원 발굴 및 활용인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 응답자들은 국립중앙의료원 공공보건의료교육훈련센터에서 제공하는 직무교육이 사회복지 업무의 성과와 관련 의사결정에 도움을 크게 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지역거점 공공병원 사회복지사의 직무교육 참여를 활성화하기 위하여 교육비 지원과 의료기관 평가 시 보수교육 이수 비율 반영을 제고하는 방안이 제시되었다. 이를 토대로 본 연구에서는 지역거점 공공병원 사회복지사의 직무교육 활성화 방안을 제시했다.

영문 초록

This study aims to identify social workers' job roles and educational needs at regional public hospitals and propose strategies for revitalizing educational programs to enhance their capacity to deliver medical social work services. We surveyed 168 social workers at regional public hospitals and included 104 respondents in the data analysis. An Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) was conducted to assess the educational needs. The study's results are as follows: First, the educational topics that regional public hospital social workers perceived as requiring the most urgent support were the linkage between health and welfare services, case management, and the discovery and utilization of community resources. Second, respondents indicated that the educational opportunities provided by the Public Healthcare Education and Training Center of the National Medical Center significantly improved their job performance and decision-making in social work. Third, the study suggests measures to encourage active participation in educational programs among social workers at regional public hospitals, such as financial support for training and incorporating the rate of continuing education completion into the healthcare institution evaluations. Based on these findings, the study proposes policy and institutional measures to revitalize educational programs for social workers in regional public hospitals.
