국문 초록

Benign notochordal cell tumor (BNCT) is a rare bone tumor that occurs mainly in axial skeleton. Although it is a benign tumor, it is difficult to distinguish it from chordoma, which is classified as malignant due to more aggressive, and thus requires special attention for diagnosis and treatment. The authors experienced a case of BNCT that occurred in the sacrum of a 44-year-old woman, and intend to report the rarity and important differences between chordoma based on literature review, focusing on histopathological findings.
