국문 초록

본 연구는 군 위탁교육생들이 대학원 학습 공동체 내에서 겪게 되는 낯선 체험들이 그들에게 어떤 의미이며, 그들의 정체성을 어떻게 변화시켜 다수의 문화에 적응해나가고, 또한 어떻게 상호작용을 하면서 영향을 주고받는지를 탐색함으로써 군 위탁교육생의 대학원에서의 교육적 삶과 체험을 사회문화적 맥락에서 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 공동연구자와 참여자를 포함한 협력적 자문화기술지 방법을 통해 군 위탁교육생이 겪는 교육적 삶과 체험에 초점을 두고, 그들의 개인적인 체험이 사회적, 문화적으로 어떻게 연계되어 있는지 밝히고, 이러한 의미를 확장시키고자 하였다. 연구자들과 참여자의 상호면담과 메모, 일기 등의 보조 자료분석 통해 살펴본 군 위탁교육생의 대학원에서의 교육적 삶과 체험은 다음과 같은 의미를 가지고 있었다. 첫째, 전혀 다른 삶을 살았던 개인이 새로운 집단 문화에서의 ‘낯선 출발’의 성격을 띄고 있었다. 둘째, 군 위탁교육생이라는 소수자가 대학원 학습 문화라는 새로운 문화에 ‘적응’하는 과정을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 군 위탁교육생들은 군인이라는 그들의 정체성을 유지한 채 대학원 주류 문화와 ‘통합’하여 사회적 상호작용을 하는 과정을 확인하였다. 넷째, 이러한 과정들을 통해 군 위탁교육생들과 대학원생들은 양쪽의 문화의 변화를 가져오면서 서로 ‘융합’되어 새로운 문화를 만드는 과정 속에 있었다. This study confirmed what the unfamiliar experiences that military entrusted students have within the graduate school learning community mean to them, and how they change their identities to adapt to multiple cultures. In addition, it was attempted to examine the educational life and experiences in graduate schools of military entrusted student in a socio-cultural context by exploring how they interact and give and receive influence. For this purpose, through collaborative autoethnography involving researchers and participants, it was intended to focus on the educational life and experiences of military entrusted students, reveal how their personal experiences are culturally linked, and expand on their significance. The educational life and experience of military entrusted students in graduate school, examined through mutual interviews between researchers and participants, analysis of auxiliary data such as memos, and diaries, produced the following results. First, an individual who lived a completely different life had the character of a 'strange departure' in a new group culture. Second, it was possible to confirm the process of ‘adaptation’ to the new culture of graduate school learning by a minority called military commissioned education. Third, military commissioned education maintained their identity as soldiers and confirmed the process of social interaction by 'integrating' with the mainstream culture of the graduate school. Fourth, through these processes, military commissioned education and graduate students were in the process of creating a new culture through their fusion, bringing about changes in both cultures.
