존재론적 코칭을 통한 대학생들의 자아정체감 형성 과정에 대한 근거이론적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 존재론적 코칭에 참여한 A 대학교 대학생 13명을 대상으로 자아정체감 형성 과정 측면에서 어떤 경험을 하게 되는지를 깊이 있게 탐색해 보고자 하였다. 이에, 본 연구는 차마즈의 구성주의 기반 근거이론 방법을 활용하여 연구 참여자들의 자아정체감에 대한 주관적인 의식경험이 어떠한 과정을 거쳐 형성되는지를 심층적으로 해석하고자 하였다. 연구 결과는 크게 참여자들이 인식하는 맥락과 그 맥락에서 자아정체감을 형성하는 과정으로 도출되었다. 우선, 참여자들이 인식하는 맥락은 존재를 바라보기 어려운 사회적 맥락이었고, 존재론적 코칭을 통해 자아정체감을 형성하는 과정은 크게 네 단계로 나눠볼 수 있었다. 첫 단계는 내면의 관점을 깊이 들여다보기, 두 번째 단계는 다양한 관점과 확장된 관점을 경험하기, 세 번째 단계는 모호함 속에서 균형 만들기, 네 번째 단계는 나의 시선으로 삶을 살아가기로 도출되었다. 본 연구는 청소년기와 청년기의 자아정체감 형성을 위한 프로그램 개발 및 실행에 유용한 자료가 될 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 생애 발달 단계의 다른 대상들을 위한 연구에도 시사점을 제공할 것이라 기대한다. This study aims to explore the experiences of college students who participated in ontological coaching in forming their self-identity. The study tried to understand and interpret in depth and richly how the subjective consciousness experience of self-identity of the participants is formed through Charmaz's constructing grounded theory. The results of this study were largely derived from the contexts perceived by the participants and the process of forming self-identity in the context. The situation that participants perceived was a social context that was difficult to see in existence, and the process of forming self-identity through ontological coaching was divided into four stages. The first step was to look deeply into their inner perspective, the second step was to experience various perspectives and extended perspectives, the third step was to make balance in ambiguity, and the fourth step was to live with their own perspective. This study is expected to be useful for the development and implementation of programs for the forming self-identity in adolescence, and to provide implications for other subjects in this stage of life development.
