국문 초록

본 연구는 발달장애인의 장애로 인한 차별경험과 스트레스가 사회참여에 미치는 영향과 운동참여의 조절효과를 검증하여 발달장애인의 사회참여를 위한 정책적·학문적 제언을 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구대상은 장애인고용패널 2차 웨이브 5차 조사에 참여한 지적장애인 355명, 자폐성장애인 28명으로 총 383명이다. 분석을 위해 기술통계, 상관분석, 위계적회귀 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 발달장애인들의 연령은 사회참여에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 발달장애인의 장애로 인한 차별경험과 스트레스는 사회참여에 유의미한 부적영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 운동참여는 발달장애인의 스트레스가 사회참여에 부적영향을 완화하는 조절효과를 나타냈다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 발달장애인의 사회참여 증진을 위한 교육프로그램의 개발 및 보급과 함께 지역사회의 인적·물적 지원의 필요성을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to make policy and academic suggestions for social participation of people with developmental disabilities by verifying the effect of discrimination experience and stress on social participation and the moderating effect of exercise participation. The subjects of the study were 355 intellectually disabled people and 28 autistic disabled people who participated in the 5th survey of the second wave of the Employment Panel Survey for the Disabled. For analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted. As a result of the study, first, the age of people with developmental disabilities had a significant effect on social participation. Second, the experience of discrimination and stress of people with developmental disabilities had a significant negative effect on social participation. Third, exercise participation showed a moderating effect of alleviating the negative effect of stress on social participation of people with developmental disabilities. Based on the research results, the necessity of developing and distributing educational programs to promote social participation of people with developmental disabilities and providing human and material support to the local community was suggested.
