영문 초록

Purpose: The name of object of my study is Cosmos. my old acquaintance. She suffered from smallpox named ``mama`` at the age of five. which has left a scar all over her face. It has remained anger, anxiety and wrath of depression, afflicting her even after she is over sixty, and she is still suffering distress of having a frequent quarrel with people around her result in breaking up with them due to failure of controlling her emotions in everyday life and interpersonal relations. Methods: This case study provides a description of Hwa-Byung in narrative form based on Reflected Image Meditation (RIM). As for the process of counseling, this study analyzed cause of Hwa-Byung and led discussion through Reflected Image Meditation targeting counselees in their tenth through eighties. Results: Going through the process Reflected Image Meditation that is composed of 1) Improvement of interpersonal relations, 2) Controlling emotions coming from anger and a sense of alienation, and 3) Overcoming post-traumatic stress disorder, Cosmos became free by assimilating with and separating well from another herself insider her through Ganana Body- scan and Reflected Image Meditation. She also recovered self-confidence and is currently doing well in daily life with unstudied ease. Conclusion: Through the study, the counselor was able to produce results that Reflected Image Meditation is very effective for healing up Hwa-Byung.
