상담전공 학부생의 비교과 상담실습에 관한 근거이론 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 상담전공 학부생들이 경험하는 비교과 상담실습의 중심현상은 무엇인지, 비교과 상담실습 과정은 어떠한지 알아보고자 함이다. 이를 위해 비교과 상담실습을 1년 이내에 경험하고 4시간 이상 참여한 상담전공 학부생 21명을 인터뷰하였으며, 수집된 자료는 근거이론을 적용하여 분석하였다. 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 중심현상으로는 ‘멘토가 실습에서 온전히 주체가 되어 이끌어 감’, ‘처음 맞닥뜨린 상담 현장에서 갈피를 잡지 못함’이 도출되었다. 인과적 조건과 맥락적 조 건에는 ‘비교과 상담실습을 경험하고자 하는 동기가 생성됨’, ‘체계가 부족한 실습환경을 마주함’, ‘상 담지식 부족 및 상담역량에 대한 낮은 효능감을 느낌’이 포함되었다. 또한, ‘다양한 도움을 받을 수 있는 실습환경이 있음’, ‘개인적인 관계 네트워크를 활용함’의 중재적 조건에서 ‘나-너 관계로 점차 발전해나감’, ‘상담을 몸소 체득하며 배워나감’의 작용/상호작용을 통해 ‘새로운 상담실습 경험에 대한 동기와 흥미가 상승함’, ‘진로에 대한 방향성이 넓어지고 확신이 생김’이라는 결과가 도출되었다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the central phenomenon and the process of extra-curricular counseling practicum among counseling undergraduates. We interviewed 21 participants who had experienced extracurricular counseling practicum within a year and participated in it for more than 4 hours, and analyzed the data by applying the grounded theory. The derived results are as follows. Central phenomena were “leading fully as the subject of practice,” and “being at a loss in newly experienced counseling sessions.” The causal and contextual conditions include “creation of motivation for counseling practice,” “lack of systematic practice environment,” and “lack of counseling knowledge and self-efficacy.” Finally, the results of the extra-curricular counseling practicum were “increased motivation and interest in counseling practice” and “expanded career options and increased confidence”, which were derived through the interventional conditions of “various supportive environments” and “personal networks” and the actions/interactions of “gradually developing into an I-Thou relationship” and “experientially learning counseling.”
