국문 초록

연구 목적: 본 연구는 코로나19 시기에서 초등학교 시각장애아동 어머니의 양육경험과 복지서비스 욕구의 주관적 경험을 질적으로 탐색하고자 한다. 연구 방법: 연구 참여 공문을 통해 모집한 시각장애아동의 어머니 8명을 면접 참여자로 선정하였으며, 반구조화 질문지로 개별 심층면담을 실시하고, 합의적 질적 연구에 따라 자료 분석을 하였다. 연구 결과: 첫째, 코로나19에서 초등학교 시각장애아동 어머니가 경험하는 교육과 양육의 특성에 따른 영역은 ‘시각장애아동을 위한 교육의 한계’와 ‘양육에 작용한 변화 요인’으로 구성되었다. 둘째, 코로나19에서 초등학교 시각장애아동이 겪은 변화의 영역은 ‘코로나19에서 아동의 내적 변화’와 ‘코로나19에서 아동의 환경적 변화’이다. 셋째, 필요한 복지서비스 욕구의 영역은 ‘시각장애 학습지 지원 욕구’와 ‘사회복지 서비스 욕구’로 탐색됐다. 결론: 코로나19 시기의 시각장애아동 어머니들의 심리사회적 경험과 특수한 욕구를 심층적으로 이해하고자 하였으며, 포스트 코로나 시대를 대비하여 상담심리서비스와 복지 지원의 특수한 욕구에 따른 실천적 방안이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to gain the insight in the parenting experiences and welfare service needs of mothers with elementary school children who have visual impairments during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: To explore the parenting experiences and welfare service needs of mothers with elementary school children who have visual impairments, 8 mothers participated in the study and individual in-depth interview was conducted, and data was analyzed by the CQR method. Results: First, the characteristics of education and rearing experience of mothers were ‘limitations of education for children with visual impairments' and ‘changing roles in rearing children. Second, the changed domains by visually impaired elementary school children during the COVID-19 were ‘internal changes of children in COVID-19' and ‘environmental changes of children in COVID-19. Third, the domains of welfare service need for elementary school children who have visual impairments were ‘the desire to support learning sites for visual impairments' and ‘the desire for social welfare services.' Conclusion: We sought to gain a thorough understanding of the psychosocial experiences and particular requirements of mothers with visually impaired children during the COVID-19 pandemic era, and this article could be provide the practical implication such as counseling, psychological services, and welfare assistance for the post-COVID-19.
