유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 취학전 출산장려교육 인식 및 관련변인 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 취학전 출산장려교육의 인식도와 관련변인들 간의 관계를 규명함으로써 우리사회의 초저출산 극복을 위한 정책적 노력에 기여하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 어머니의 취학전 출산장려교육 인식도와 관련변인의 경향성 파악 및 어머니의 출산장려교육 인식도와 관련변인들 간의 상관관계와 영향관계를 규명하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경상북도 G시의 유치원 어머니 167명이다. 연구결과 첫째, 어머니들의 취학전 출산장려교육 인식도는 높은 편이었고, 어머니와 아버지 학력에 따라 어머니의 출산장려교육 인식도 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 어머니의 취학전 출산장려교육 인식도는 원가족건강성(r=.42, p<.001)과 결혼만족도(r=.26, p=.002)와 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니의 취학전 출산장려교육 인식도에는 원가족 건강성만이 유의미한 영향 요인(β=.38, p<.001)으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 저출산 문제의 극복을 위해서는 취학전 출산장려교육이 조기 실행되어져야 할 타당성을 지지하며, 더불어 건강한 가정과 유아기에서의 행복한 부모-자녀관계의 중요성을 강하게 시사한다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study was to examine the perception of a preschool child’s mother, on childbirth promotion education for preschool children and to identify the factors influencing their perception of childbirth promotion education. The subject of this study was intended for 167 mothers of preschools in G city. The instruments for this study were the perception of childbirth promotion education, health of the family of origin, parenting stress, and marital satisfaction. Mothers responded to the questionnaires by self-reporting. The data were analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regressions with the SPSS 18.0 program. First, the perception of mothers on childbirth promotion education was at a high level. Further, educational career of mother and father showed significant difference with respect to the perception of mothers on childbirth promotion education. Second, health of the family of origin (r=.42, p<.001) and marital satisfaction (r=.26, p=.002) showed positive correlation to the mothers’ perception on childbirth promotion education. Third, the influencing factor on the mothers’ perception of childbirth promotion education was identified as health of the family of origin (β=0.38, p<.001); the model explained 18.0 percent, of the variables. Therefore, according to these results, childbirth promotion education for the preschool should be conducted, and health of the family of origin should be considered as one of the factors for improving low birth rate of Korea.
