국문 초록

학부모에 대한 관심의 증진에도 불구하고 학부모학의 정체성에 대한 의문들이 제기되고 있다. 이러한 정체성 혼란의 원인에는 ‘학부모’ 개념의 모호성과 더불어 유관용어인 ‘부모’와의 복잡한 관계도 그 한 몫을 하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 독립된 분과 학문으로서 개념 정의를 통한 학부모학과 부모학의 정체성을 탐구하는 데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이러한 목적을 위해 먼저 학부모학과 부모학에 대한 개념을 통한 학문의 정체성을 탐색하고, 학부모학의 학문적 위상 강화의 필요성을 밝혔다. 그리고 학부모학의 개념 정의를 통해 학문적 정체성을 보다 명확히 규정하고, 부모학도 개념 정의를 통해서 학문적 정체성을 명확히 규명하였다. 학부모학의 개념은 하나의 관점으로 모든 영역을 포괄하는 것이 아닌 새롭게 정립된 학문의 바탕에 다양한 이념과 관점을 활용하는 접근 방식을 택해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Despite the increased interest in school parent, questions are being raised about the identity of school parental studies. In addition to the ambiguity of the concept of ‘school parent’, the complex relationship of the related term ‘parent’ plays a role to the cause of such identity confusion. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the identity of school parental studies and parental studies through conceptual definition as an independent sub-discipline. For this purpose, the identity of the study was explored through the concept of school parental studies and parental studies in general. This helps reveal the necessity of strengthening the academic status of school parental studies. The academic identity became more clearly defined through the conceptual definition of school parental studies, and parental studies. The concept of parental studies should not encompass all areas from a single perspective, but an approach that utilizes various ideologies and perspectives on the basis of newly established study.
