영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze conflicts psychologically and theologically which pastors experience in their pastoral field and to suggest some ways to overcome those conflicts. Firstly, various conflicts pastors might have in themselves (intrapsychic conflicts), in church structure, and in family life are described. Secondly, conflicts are analyzed with the help of psychological theories such as S. Freud s, A. Adler s, K. Horney s, A. Ellis s, existential therapy, and family system theory, and they are also analyzed from the view of Bible. Finally, nine ways to overcome those conflicts are suggested as followings: 1) need of spiritual power, 2) analysis of family history, 3) healing from narcissistic personality disorder by studying human being deeply, 4) flexibility in pastor s role, 5) check of authority (authoritative, not authoritarian), 6) need of experience being healed, 7) acceptance of possibility to be failed in his striving to resolve conflicts, 8) recognition of his duty to love(equal regard), and 9) deep understanding on anger and coping with it in healthy method.
