국문 초록

본 연구는 청소년의 학습습관과 공동체의식 및 학교생활적응 간의 관계를 종단적 연구를 통해 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구대상자는 한국청소년정책연구원에 의해 수집된 한국아동·청소년패널조사(KCYPS)로 중학교 1학년 1차년도(2010년), 3차년도(2012년), 5차년도(2014년) 패널 데이터를 사용하였다. 종단적 관계를 검증하기 위해 다변량 잠재성장모형을 활용하였고, 청소년의 학습습관과 학교생활적응 간 구조적 관계에서 공동체의식의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 학습습관은 시간의 경과에 따라 증가하였으나 공동체의식과 학교생활적응은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학습습관과 공동체의식 및 학교생활적응 간의 종단적 경로에서 학습습관 초기치는 공동체의식과 학교생활적응의 초기치에 정적 영향을 미쳤으며 공동체의식 변화율에는 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 학교생활적응 변화율에 미치는 영향은 유의하지 않게 나타났다. 셋째, 학습습관과 학교생활적응의 관계에서 공동체의식의 종단적 매개효과는 학습습관 초기치가 학교생활적응 초기치로 이어지는 경로와 학습습관 변화율에서 학교생활적응 변화율로 이어지는 경로를 부분매개하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between study habits, community spirits, and school-life adaptation of adolescents through a longitudinal study. The subject of this study was the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) collected by the National Youth Policy Institute, and panel data from the 1st(2010), 3rd(2012), and 5th(2014) years of middle school were used. To verify the longitudinal relationship, a multivariate latent growth model was used, and the mediating effect of community spirits in the structural relationship between study habits and school-life adaptation of adolescents was analyzed. The research results are as follows. First, study habits of adolescents increased with the passage of time, but their community spirits and school-life adaptation decreased. Second, in the longitudinal path between study habits, community spirits, and school-life adaptation, the initial value of study habits positively affected the initial values of community spirits and school-life adaptation, and negatively affected the rate of change in community spirits. On the other hand, it was found that the effect on the change rate of school-life adaptation was not significant. Third, the longitudinal mediating effect of community spirits in the relationship between study habits and school-life adaptation partially mediated the path from which the initial value of study habits leads to the initial value of school-life adaptation and the path from the rate of change of study habits to the rate of change of school-life adaptation.
