취업 지적장애자녀의 부모인식에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 취업 지적장애자녀를 둔 부모가 자녀의 취업과 관련하여 어떠한 경험을 하였는지, 그 경험의 의미가 무엇인지를 파악하는 것을 목적으로 시도하였다. 본 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 부모의경험에 관련된 다양한 의미와 구조를 발견하고자 경험의 해석에 중점을 두는 질적 연구 방법론을 적용하였다. 부모가 경험한 자녀취업과정과 직장생활 유지에 관한 경험의 의미들은 지적장애인의 직업재활과 관련된 중요한 기초자료로서 향후 지적장애인의 직업재활의 방향성을 제공할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구의 참여자는 취업 지적장애자녀를 둔 7명의 부모들이다. 연구결과 64개의 주제, 18개의 주제모음, 5개의 범주를 발견하였다. 이를 통해 취업 지적장애자녀를 둔 부모들은 자녀 취업과정에서 부정할수 없는 현실적 어려움, 직장적응과 걱정, 자녀의 긍정적 변화, 부모와 가족의 성장, 자녀의 자립과 미래에 대한 희망을 경험하였음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study is aimed at the parents of children with mental retardation regard their perception for workplace-based employment. And this study attempts to find means and structures relating to employment and the effects and experiences of parents of people with intellectual disabilities through a qualitative research methodology focused on the analysis of human experience. The results of this study will provide the direction for the future rehabilitation of people with mental retardations as an important basis for understanding the parents recognized related to the vocational rehabilitation of parents of children with mental retardations. This study approaches to the phenomenological method to identify the perceptions, and to understand the topic and categories. The result of this study, 64 subjects targeted, 18 subject, were found five categories, and configure the consolidated statements regarding the recognition of parents of children with mental retardations. These items are, undeniable practical difficulties, the adaptation work and worry, child s positive change, growth of parents and families, hoping about independence.
