영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the results of the psychotherapy which was performed by the psychiatric residents of the Seoul National University Hospital from March 1,1974 to July 31, 1977, Nine psychiatric residents who engaged in treatment gave answers to the specially prepared questionnaire. The results ars as follows. 1) The characterisitcs of the patients were similar as that of the previous study performed by Rhiet a!. 2) Eleven and half percent of the patients were terminated tlie therapy and others were dropped: out during the therapy. Early dropping out rate was 16,7%. Sixty nine percent of the patients, showed clinical improvement of the symptoms. 3) There were no evidence that socioenomic status’or educational level affect the clinical outcome of the therapy. 4) The patient group that were supervised had higher socioceconmic status and more educated than the patient group that were not supervised. 5) Almost all the cases that were terminated the therapy and showed good clinical improvement got individual suprervision.
