영문 초록

In discussion about prophetic texts in general, it is useful to put a focus on original material(jeobon) rather than on original copy(weonbon). Among four manuscripts such as Haeju Ossibon, Gyeogamrok, Sansupyeongjang, and Seoulbon, the last one is the most promising candidate as the original material from which the Gyeogamyurok was possibly made.
Turning to such studies, we can overcome the years-long debate as to whether or not the Gyeogamyurok was written really by Nam Sago. With increasing amount of information on original materials of prophetic texts, we can improve our understanding about that general situation which most of prophetic texts have historically come through.
Generally speaking on prophetic books, forgery has not been an exception, but the rule.
