국문 초록

[Background] Rooted in social and humanistic concerns, Chinese realism has evolved under Western and indigenous influences, highlighting a shift toward thematic creation and Sinicization amid cultural transformation. [Objective] This paper aims to explore the developmental path and expressive characteristics of contemporary Chinese realistic oil painting in the context of thematic creation and the Sinicization process, revealing its cultural foundations and potential future directions. [Method] By tracing the historical context of art development and examining the evolution of ideological concepts, visual language, and thematic construction, this study analyzes representative artists and works from both theoretical and practical perspectives. [Results] Thematic creation strengthens realism’s narrative and social depth, while Sinicization localizes its aesthetics and culture, shaping a distinctive artistic language of its time. [Conclusion] The development of contemporary Chinese realism addresses social and cultural needs while reflecting artistic innovation and cultural awareness, offering insights into the future of realism and its Sinicization.

영문 초록

【背景】现实主义作为一种深具社会责任感和人文精神的艺术形式，在中国的发展既受到西方传统影响，又深深植根于本土历史语境与文化精神。在社会转型与文化观念演变的背景下，中国当代现实主义油画逐渐凸显主题性创作与“油画中国化”的发展趋势。 【目的】本文旨在探讨中国当代现实主义油画在主题性创作与“油画中国化”进程中的发展路径与表现特征，揭示其文化根基与未来方向。 【方法】通过梳理艺术史脉络，结合思想观念、视觉语言和题材建构的演化过程，选取典型艺术家案例进行分析，从理论与实践两个维度展开研究。 【结果】研究发现，主题性创作推动了现实主义油画在时代叙事和社会介入功能上的深化，而“油画中国化”在形式美学与民族文化层面实现了本土化转译，逐渐形成富有时代特征的艺术表现语言。 【结论】中国当代现实主义油画的发展不仅回应了社会与文化的现实需求，还在艺术创新与文化自觉中展现出重要价值，对未来现实主义油画的发展路径与“中国化”进程具有重要启示意义。
