국문 초록

개념적 은유는 인간의 인지 방식이며, 추상적 개념을 이해하는 데 중요한 역할을 한다고 본다. 특히 정치 뉴스는 종종 개념적 은유를 통해 복잡한 정치적 이념을 전달하고, 무의식적으로 이데올로기를 형성한다. 본고는 관련성 이론을 이론적 기반으로 삼고, 한국 《중앙일보》의 정치 뉴스를 코퍼스로 선정하였다. 인지적 맥락과 최적 관련성이라는 이중 관점에서 출발하여, 한국 정치 뉴스에 나타난 개념적 은유의 중국어 번역 전략을 탐구한다. 이를 통해 정치 뉴스의 번역 및 해석 작업에 참고와 도움을 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Conceptual Metaphor Theory posits that metaphor is a fundamental mode of human cognition, playing a crucial role in comprehending abstract concepts. Political news frequently employs conceptual metaphors to convey complex political ideologies, subtly yet profoundly shaping public consciousness. Grounded in Relevance Theory, this study utilizes political news articles from the JoongAng Ilbo (South Korea) as its corpus. By adopting a dual perspective of cognitive context and optimal relevance, it explores Chinese translation strategies for conceptual metaphors found in South Korean political news. This study aims to provide reference and guidance for the translation and interpretation of political news.
