청소년의 학교폭력 가해행동에 영향을 미치는 요인 - 학교폭력피해 및 가정폭력 목격경험을 중심으로

국문 초록

이 연구는 학교와 사회의 또래들로부터 경험하는 직접적인 또래폭력피해경험과 가정에서 부모의폭력사용의 노출의 간접적 폭력피해경험이 청소년들의 또래폭력가해행위에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위한 연구이다. 연구의 이론적 배경으로는 Bandura의 사회심리학이론인 사회학습이론과 Akers의 범죄학이론인 사회학습이론의 모방의 학습기제가 적용되었다. 연구분석을 위해서 2,500명의 청소년들의 또래폭력피해 및 가해의 경험에 관한 설문결과를 사용하여 주요 독립변수들의 종속변수에 대한 인과관계와 그 상대적 영향력을 비교하기 위한 단계적 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 연구분석결과 사회심리학이론의 모방기제가 청소년들의 또래 폭력행위에 영향을 미치는 학습기제로 작용할 수 있다는 가설을 지지할 수 있는 결과가 도출되었다. 즉, 과거의 직접적인 또래에 의한 폭력피해는 이후 피해 청소년들의 또래에 대한 다양한 가해행위를 증가시키는 위험요인인 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 가정에서 부모가 서로에 대해 폭력적 행위를 하는 것과 형제자매에 대하여폭력을 사용하는 것을 목격한 간접적 폭력피해의 경험 역시 청소년들의 또래 가해행위를 증가시키는 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 가정에서의 부모의 폭력은 직접적인 또래 폭력피해의 경험보다더 큰 위험을 나타내고 있는 것으로 나타나 가정에서의 부모의 역할이 청소년들의 또래 폭력가해위험에 미치는 영향이 매우 중대하다는 시사점을 제시하고 있다. 이 외의 연구의 공헌점, 정책적함의 그리고 앞으로의 연구에 대한 제안 등이 논의에서 거론되었다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the impact of bullying victimization experience andexposure to parental violence on youth's bullying perpetration against other peers. On thebasis of the imitation learning mechanism proposed by Bandrua's social learning theoryas well as Akers' social learning theory, this study tested two separated hypotheses witha sample of 2,500 adolescents. The findings of this study provide supportive evidence forthe imitation learning mechanism of social learning theory. That is, prior peer bullyingvictimization experience had a positive influence increasing the risk of peer bullyingperpetration against other peers. Furthermore, prior experience of being exposured tointer-parental violence also had significant influence on adolescents' increased risk ofbecoming bullying perpetrators. Such findings indicate that the significance andimportance of violence victimization not only in school but also at home. Thecontribution, policy impaction and suggestions for the future study is discussed in thisstudy.
