방사선치료 임상실습 환경에 따른 방사선(학)과 학생의 학습 효과 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 방사선(학)과 학생들의 임상실습 경험이 학습 성과(몰입도, 만족도, 성취도)에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 방사선치 료 장비별 실습 경험과 이해도의 관계를 조사하고자 하였다. 방사선(학)과 학생 160명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 임상실습 수행 여부, 몰입도, 만족도, 성취도 및 방사선치료 장비에 대한 이해도를 평가하였다. 통계 분석은 독립표본 t-검정, 일원 배치 분산 분석(ANOVA), Duncan 사후 검정 및 피어슨(Pearson) 상관 분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 학과제 도(3년제/4년제)와 임상실습 지역에 따라 몰입도와 만족도에서 유의한 차이가 나타났으며(p<0.05), 4년제 학생들의 몰입도와 성취도가 3년제보다 유의하게 높았고, 수도권과 전라도 지역에서 실습한 학생들의 만족도가 충청 지역보다 높았다(p<0.01). 방사선치료 장비별 실습 수행 여부를 분석한 결과, 선형가속기(85.6%)와 토모테라피(59.4%)의 실습 수행률은 높았던 반면, 양 성자 치료기(17.5%), MR-LINAC(20.6%), 사이버나이프(29.4%) 등의 특수치료 장비는 실습 경험이 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 또 한, 모든 방사선치료 장비에서 실습을 수행한 학생들이 실습을 수행하지 않은 학생들보다 유의하게 높은 이해도를 보였다 (p<0.05). 몰입도, 만족도, 성취도의 상관관계 분석에서는 세 변수 간 유의한 양의 상관관계가 확인되었으며, 특히 만족도와 성 취도 간의 상관관계(r=0.764, p<0.001)가 가장 높았다. 본 연구 결과는 방사선치료학 임상실습에서 실습 경험이 학습 성과에 긍 정적인 영향을 미치며, 특히 특수치료 장비에 대한 실습 접근성이 향상될 필요가 있음을 시사한다. 또한, 몰입도가 높을수록 만족도와 성취도가 증가하는 경향이 있으므로, 실습 환경을 개선하고 학생들의 몰입도를 증진하는 교육적 대책이 요구된다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes the impact of clinical practice experience on the learning outcomes (immersion, satisfaction, and achievement) of radiological science students and examines the relationship between clinical practice experience with radiation therapy equipment and students' understanding. A survey was conducted with 160 students to assess their clinical practice participation, immersion, satisfaction, achievement, and understanding of radiation therapy equipment. Statistical analyses, including independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, Duncan's post-hoc test, and Pearson correlation analysis, were performed. The results showed significant differences in immersion and satisfaction based on the academic system (three-year vs. four-year programs) and clinical practice location (p<0.05). Four-year program students had higher immersion and achieve- ment levels, and students who practiced in metropolitan and Jeolla regions reported higher satisfaction than those in the Chungcheong region (p<0.01). Analysis of clinical practice experience with radiation therapy equipment revealed that linear accelerators (85.6%) and Tomotherapy (59.4%) had high practice rates, whereas proton therapy (17.5%), MR-LINAC (20.6%), and CyberKnife (29.4%) had limited practical experience. Additionally, students with clinical practice experience in all equip- ment types showed significantly higher understanding levels (p<0.05). Correlation analysis confirmed a significant positive relationship among immersion, satisfaction, and achievement, with the highest correlation between satisfaction and achievement (r=0.764, p<0.001). These findings suggest that clinical practice experience enhances learning outcomes and highlight the need to improve access to specialized radiation therapy equipment training. Furthermore, as immersion is linked to greater satisfaction and achievement, strategies to enhance clinical practice environments and student engagement are necessary.
