국문 초록

이 연구는 일부 지역 대학생들의 잇솔질 횟수 및 행태에 따른 구강건강 관리에 관한 연구이다. 2024년 9월 충청도 대학생 122명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시했다. 결과는 남학생들이 여학생에 비해 흡연율이 높고, 일일 잇솔질 횟수는 여학생이 더 많았다. 또한, 구강위생용품 사용여부에서 여학생이 남학생보다 구강위생용품을 더 많이 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 구강건강 관리에 대한 태도에서도 여학생이 남학생보다 모두 유의적으로 높게 나타나 긍정적인 태도를 보였다. 성인기에 들어서는 대학생들에 대한 구강보건 교육이 중요하며, 구강위생용품 사용법과 효과에 대한 교육이 지속적으로 필요하겠다.

영문 초록

This study is about oral health care according to the frequency and behavior of tooth brushing among college students in some areas. A survey was administered in September 2024 to 122 university students from Chung-cheong Province. The findings revealed that male students had a higher smoking rate compared to female students, while female students engaged in tooth brushing more frequently. Additionally, female students were found to use oral hygiene products more regularly than their male counterparts. In terms of attitudes toward oral health, female students exhibited significantly more positive attitudes than male students. These results highlight the importance of oral health education for university students, emphasizing the need for instruction on the proper use and effectiveness of oral hygiene products.
