국문 초록

국어의 이해 및 활용 능력을 높이고, 우리의 전통문화에 대한 깊이 있는 이해를 도모하며, 한자문화권 동북아시아 중심의 세계적 조류에 능동적으로 대처하기 위해서, 한자이해능력을 提高할 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 따라 각 기관에서는 한자검정시험을 실시하고 있으며, 또한 새로운 시험 유형 및 시행 방안을 개발하기 위한 시도가 진행되고 있다. 본고에서는 현재 시행되고 있는 각 기관의 한자검정시험 현황 및 문제점을 살펴보았으며, 아울러 개선 방안에 대해서 모색해 보았다. 또한 이러한 기초 연구를 통해 마련하였던 상공회의소 한자 시험의 시행 방안에 대해서도 살펴보았다. 이와 같은 연구는 각 기관의 한자검정시험을 질적인 측면 및 형식적인 측면에서 발전시키는 데에 일조할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

In order to raise the ability to understand and utilize Korean, promote the deep understanding of our traditional culture, and cope with the worldwide trend centering around the Northeastern Asia which belongs to Chinese characters cultural sphere, the necessity for raising the ability to Chinese characters becomes influential. Accordingly, each authority carries out a Chinese characters qualification test, also making efforts to develop new test types or enforcement methods. This paper looked into the present situation of Chinese characters qualification tests carried out by each authority and their problems, at the same time, seeking improvement methods. In addition, it examined the enforcement methods of Chinese characters tests of the Commerce of Industry devised through such basic studies. Such studies will contribute to development of Chinese characters qualification tests of each authority from the qualitative and formal aspect.
