기능의학적 5R 치료의 근거와 적용

국문 초록

장내 세균 불균형은 간단히 정의하면 소장이나 대장에 존재하는 유익균과 유해균의 비율이 깨져 유해균의 비율 이 증가한 상태를 일컫는다. 유해균의 증가는 장 점막세포의 손상으로 이어지기 때문에 장내 세균 불균형 환자를 치료함에 있어 유해균의 제거 및 유익균의 공급뿐만아니라 손상된 장 점막 세포 회복에 도움이 되는 영양치료를 같이하는 것이 중요하다. 더불어, 장내 세균 불균형이 생길 수 있는 장내 환경을 같이 교정시켜 주고 더나아가 장내 세균 불균형이 발생할 수 있는 생활습관 및 환경에 대한 교육을 같이 하여야 한다. 이렇게 장내 세균불균형 환자의 치료를 위해서는 다양한 접근법이 필요한 데 이번 종설에서는 이러한 환자에서 5R 프로그램을 이용한 기능의학적 접근법에 대해 기술하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Simply defined, gut dysbiosis refers to a condition in which the ratio of beneficial and harmful bacteria present in the small or large intestine is disrupted and the ratio of harmful bacteria increases. Because an increase in pathogenic bacteria leads to damage to intestinal mucosal cells, it is important to provide functional medical treatment that not only removes harmful bacteria and supplies beneficial bacteria, but also helps restore damaged intestinal mucosal cells when treating patients with intestinal bacterial imbalance. In addition, the intestinal environment where intestinal bacterial imbalance can occur must be corrected, and further education on lifestyle habits and environments where gut dysbiosis can occur must be provided. In these ways, various approaches are needed to treat patients with gut dysbiosis, and in this review, the author will describe functional medical approaches using the 5R (remove, replace, reinoculate, repair and rebalance) program in these patients.
