修辭와 시의 要素로 본 訥齋 朴祥 시의 特性

국문 초록

본고는 눌재(訥齋) 박상(朴祥: 1474∼1530)의 시 5언 시에 나타난 미학을 고찰하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 수사법(修辭法) 상으로 보면, 눌재 시에는 첩자(疊字)와 첩어(疊語)를 사용하여 의미를 강조하고 있다. 첩자(疊字)가 의성어나 의태어로 쓰이지만, 한 글자가 나타내는 의미보다 그 의미를 훨씬 강조하는 기능을 한다. 뿐만 아니라 시에 있어 리듬감, 또는 생동감을 고조시킨다. 그가 그의 시에 용사(用事)하여 우의의 의미를 드러내었다. 우의(寓意)나 풍자(諷刺)는 현실에 대한 불만이 있을 때 나온다. 눌재의 오언시를 보면 많은 부분에서 현실에 만족하지 못하고 있다. 그가 현실에 대하여 불만, 소외감을 많이 가지고 있었다. 그것은 그의 관직 생활이 순탄하지 않았기 때문이다. 따라서 자신의 주장을 다른 사물에 빗대어 표현할 수밖에 없었다. 그가 사물을 사실적(寫實的)으로 묘사하고 있다. 이는 그의 성품이 그만큼 섬세하다는 것을 의미한다. 겉으로는 강직한 것 같지만, 그 마음은 섬세하면서 정이 있었다. 현대 시에 있어 그 요소는 음악성과 회화성, 분위기이다. 눌재의 시는 음악성과 회화성을 겸비하고 있다. 그의 시에 나타난 음악성은 들뜨거나 시끄럽지 않다. 리듬이 잔잔히 흐르고 있다. 그의 시에 나타난 회화성도 화려하거나 웅장하지 않다. 소슬하면서 차분하다. 그의 시에 나타난 분위기도 차분하면서 조용하며, 어두우면서 처량하다. 그의 시에 나타난 심상(心象) 단순히 한 가지만 나타나는 것이 아니라 청각이나 시각, 시각이나 촉각적 심상이 복합적으로 나타난다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article was to examine the aesthetics of the five words poems of Nuljae Park Sang(1474-1530)’s. According to the rhetoric, Nuljae uses repeated or combined words to emphasize the meaning of the poetry. The repeated or combined words are used as an onomatopoeia or as an imitative or mimetic word, but it is used to emphasize the meaning of a word more than the meaning of a letter. In addition, it increases the sense of rhythm or vitality in poetry. He showed his poetry with using authentic precedents. Allegory or satire comes when there are complaints about the actual phases of his life. Looking at Nuljae’s five words poetry, many of them are not satisfied with the reality. He had a lot of dissatisfaction and alienation with actual world. That’s because his official life was not smooth. Therefore, he had no choice but to compare his argument to other objects. He describes things as realistic. This means that his character is as delicate as he is. On the surface, he seemed to be upright, but his mind was delicate and affectionate. In modern poetry, the elements are musicality, pictoriality, and atmosphere. It combines musicality and pictoriality in his poems. The musicality shown in his poems is not exciting or noisy. The rhythm is flowing gently. The pictoriality shown in his poems is not splendid or grand. Be timid and calm. The atmosphere in his poems are calm, quiet, dark and miserable or melancholy. The image in his poems are not simple but complicated. It’s united acoustic and visual, or acoustic and tactual images.
