영문 초록

Purpose – By studying the global economic downturn and ESG management, we will examine how companies should prepare for ESG management. Accordingly, this study's purpose is to relate the correlation between changes in global ESG policies and Korean trade. Design/Methodology/Approach – Looking at the data, it was estimated that the market size growth rate related to global supply chain management was more than 12%, and would continue to increase by more than 12% every year. Meanwhile, the average value data from 2027 to 2028 was directly estimated by ARIMA (1, 1, 0) using data from The World Bank (2023) to calculate the forecast. Looking at this data, the average value from 2027 to 2028 is expected to increase by 12.16% in market size related to global supply chain management, continuing the increasing trend and expanding its scope. Findings – Korean trading companies will be able to expand business in relation to global ESG management in the future by estimating the growth rate of the market size related to global supply chain management. Research Implications – In accordance with policy changes in the EU and the US, Korean export companies need to prepare for ESG management. Therefore, Korean export companies must also prepare well for the EU's carbon border tax, the expansion of the supply chain due diligence law to the EU region including Germany, and policy changes related to electric vehicle subsidies in the United States.
