국문 초록

이 연구는 알코올중독 당사자가 알코올중독이라는 사회적 낙인과 가족들로부터 방임된 생활 그리고 사회적 관계의 단절 및 고립을 극복하면서 회복되어 가는 과정을 자기연구로 서술하였다. 즉, 이 연구의 목적은 자문화기술지 연구방법을 통해 한 알코올중독자가 직면했던 심리적 및 육체적 고통의 실체를 재현하고, 그것을 극복하는 과정에서 자기 자신을 정직하게 이해하고 성찰하게 된 경험을 내부자의 관점에 조명하는 데 있다. 이 연구는 질적 자료 수집을 위하여 연구자가 중점적으로 사용하는 자기회상자료를 활용하였다. 더불어 연구자가 가지고 있는 해석의 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 연구자와 지도교수 및 가족에게 연구의 과정 및 결과를 보여주고 삼각검정(Triangulation)을 통해 신뢰성과 타당도를 높이고자 하였다. 이 연구는 알코올중독 당사자가 알코올중독과 회복과정을 내부자의 목소리와 관점에서 서술한 최초의 글이라는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study describes the process of recovery by overcoming the social stigma of alcoholism, the neglected life from family members, and the severance and isolation of social relations. n other words, the purpose of this study is to recreate the reality of psychological and physical pain faced by an alcoholic through the self-culture technology journal research method, and to understand and reflect on oneself honestly in the process of overcoming it. It lies in illuminating the perspective. This study utilized self-recall data that the researcher mainly used to collect qualitative data. In addition, to complement the limitations of personal data, family interviews were conducted as a representative data collection method of qualitative research methods, and data such as recovery diaries and conversations with families were collected during recovery. In addition, in order to overcome the problem of interpretation that the researcher has, the research process and results were shown to the researcher, the supervisor, and the family, and the reliability and validity were improved through a triangulation. This study is meaningful in that it is the first article to describe alcoholism and the recovery process from insiders' voices and perspectives.
