중소제조기업의 내부역량이 스마트제조 수준에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 중소기업의 스마트제조 도입 과정에서 내부자원의 효율적 활용방안을 제공하고자 한다. 구체적으로, 기업이 보유하고 있는 내부자원이 스마트제조 수준에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석하였다. 또한, 기업의한정된 자원을 보완하기 위한 외부교류 활동의 효과를 검증하기 위해 내부자원과 스마트제조 수준 간 외부교류의 매개효과를 살펴보았다. 국내 스마트제조를 도입한 129개 중소기업 제조업체로부터 수집한 데이터를활용하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구개발을 제외한 스마트제조 인프라, 인적자원, 흡수역량은스마트제조 수준에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 스마트제조 내부자원 및 활동과 외부교류 간 분석으로 인프라, 연구개발, 흡수역량은 외부교류에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤으나, 인적자원은 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 셋째, 외부교류는 스마트제조 수준에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 스마트제조 내부자원 및 활동으로서 인프라, 연구개발, 흡수역량이 스마트제조수준에 미치는 영향에서 외부교류의 매개역할로 그 영향 정도가 증가하였으나, 인적자원의 영향은 유의하지 않았다. 본 연구는 한정적인 자원을 보유하고 있는 중소기업의 스마트제조 도입에 있어서 내부자원 요소별 스마트제조수준에 미치는 영향을 실증 분석한 결과로서 이론적, 실용적 의미가 크다. 또한, 자원기반이론에 근거하여외부교류의 매개효과를 검증하였다는 점에서 연구의 차별성이 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to provide an efficient use of internal resources in the process of introducing smart manu-facturing in SMEs(Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). Specifically, the effect of internal resources held by companies on the level of smart manufacturing was analyzed. In addition, in order to verify the effectiveness of external exchange activities to supplement limited resources of companies, the mediating effect of external exchange between internal resources and smart manufacturing levels was examined. The results of analysis using data collected from 129 domestic small and medium-sized manufacturers that have introduced smart man-ufacturing are as follows. First, excluding R&D, smart manufacturing infrastructure, human resources, and ab-sorption capacity have positive (+) effects on the level of smart manufacturing. Second, by analyzing the internal resources and activities of smart manufacturing, infrastructure, R&D, and absorption capacity have positive (+) effects on external exchange, but human resources’ effect is not significant. Third, external exchange has a positive (+) effect on the level of smart manufacturing. Fourth, as the internal resources and activities of smart manufacturing, the influence of infrastructure, R&D, and absorption capacity on the level of smart manu-facturing increased due to the mediating role of external exchange, but human resources’ effect is insignificant. This study has theoretical and practical significance as the result of empirical analysis of the effect of each internal resource element on the smart manufacturing level in the introduction of smart manufacturing by SMEs with limited resources. In addition, there is a difference in the study in that it verified the mediating effect of external exchanges based on the resource-based theory.
